PublicationsThe vision of the Pain in Motion Lifestyle research line is to transform the understanding and management of chronic pain by pioneering research into the role of lifestyle factors (i.e., stress, sleep, and nutrition) and leveraging these insights to develop innovative, personalized therapies that improve quality of life for those affected.
The Pain in Motion Lifestyle research line investigates how stress, sleep disturbances, and nutrition influence chronic pain. Focusing on underlying mechanisms, this research identifies modifiable factors to inform innovative therapies. The aim is to develop, examine and implement integrative interventions that address these lifestyle aspects to improve pain management and patient outcomes.
