PublicationsThe vision of the Pain in Motion Oncology is addressing the diverse needs of cancer patients throughout the entire cancer continuum, from diagnosis to treatment and survivorship, with a focus on improving oncological care at every stage.
The Pain in Motion Oncology research line addresses the physical (e.g., pain, sleep disturbances, fatigue), psychological (e.g., perceived injustice, stress), and social (e.g., behavioral change through motivational interviewing, graded activity) needs of patients across the cancer continuum - from diagnosis through treatment to survivorship. The goal is to enhance oncological care for all age groups, spanning pediatric to geriatric oncology. We develop and implement evidence-based, implementable solutions by integrating fundamental, clinical, and policy-making approaches. This research line fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare providers and biomedical experts (e.g., epigenetics).
